West Houston & Energy Corridor
West Houston follows I-10 from Beltway 8 and CityCentre through the Energy Corridor and out toward Katy and the Grand Parkway. The Westpark Tollway provides another east-west option farther south. Housing shifts from apartments, townhouses, and condos near employment centers to large master-planned subdivisions and newer construction farther west. The region crosses Harris, Fort Bend, and Waller counties, and a Katy mailing address may sit well outside the City of Katy.
