Schematic map — simplified for orientation, not survey-accurate.

Central Houston is where the region’s biggest anchors sit close together: Downtown, the Texas Medical Center, Uptown, and many of the neighborhoods inside Loop 610. I-10, I-45, and I-69/US-59 all meet near the core, but that does not make every cross-town trip simple. Housing changes quickly from block to block, from early bungalows and garden apartments to townhouses, mid-rises, and high-rise condos. When you compare addresses here, look at the street and the route you will actually use, not just the distance on the map.
