East Houston & Baytown
East Houston and Baytown run alongside the Houston Ship Channel through Harris County and toward Chambers County. I-10, SH 225, SH 146, and Beltway 8 carry most regional trips. Port facilities and large industrial sites are part of daily conditions here, alongside older postwar neighborhoods, townhouses, newer subdivisions, and acreage farther east. Before choosing a home, spend time around the immediate block and the route you would use. Truck traffic, rail crossings, industrial activity, drainage, and municipal boundaries can all change the experience from one address to another.
